Pure, vibrant, and umami-rich. Our first harvest matcha is sourced from the first picking in Japan (the most prized leaves), delivering a smooth, naturally sweet cup with that signature deep green color.

Seriously good matcha, seriously easy.

We make seriously good matcha, seriously easy, but what does that really mean?

Terraced green tea fields in Japan

It starts with quality. We source our matcha from Japan, and go global with flavors, like Madagascar vanilla and Sierra Leone cacao. We pick the right blend: the matcha that complements the honey is different from the matcha you drink straight!

Person balancing a Shinzo vanilla matcha box and a matcha drink

To make it seriously easy, we put each flavor in a pouch, so you don't have to measure or fidget for the right amount of syrup. The matcha is sealed tight per pouch; it's not slowly oxidizing like in a bulk tin.

We were tired of people making matcha sound so complicated, and this is our take on it. Here's to a matcha routine that just works.

The Ritual

1. Sift

1. Sift

Place your sieve over your chawan (traditional Japanese tea bowl). Empty out a Shinzo pouch and push it gently through the sieve.

2. Add Water

2. Add Water

Pour roughly 30 ml of hot (150°F to 175°F) water over the powder. Never use boiling water, as it will burn the tea.

3. Whisk

3. Whisk

Hold the bowl securely with one hand. Using a bamboo whisk, mix the tea in a swift, energetic zigzag ("W" / "M") shaped motion for 10-20 seconds until creamy.

4. Enjoy

4. Enjoy

Add 6 to 8 oz of milk (we like oat!) and give it a swirl. Enjoy! Snap a pic and tag @shinzomatcha.

Word on the Street

  • “If you've been spending too much on café matcha or skipping it altogether because it feels like too much work, this matcha... is the easiest upgrade to your routine. It's quick, portable and genuinely delicious.”

  • “What sets Shinzo apart is how it balances quality and convenience. You're getting 3g of matcha per serving (more than many competitors), plus clean, globally sourced ingredients.”

  • “Instead of juggling tins, syrups and guesswork, Shinzo simplifies the process... Each one blends seamlessly... so your daily latte actually tastes like the one you'd spend $8 on at a café.”
